What is the difference between a CM400A, CM400C, CM400E & CM400T?
The CM400/450 comes in four standard models:
CM400A - The Hondamatic
- Automatic transmission
- Single caliper front disk brake
- Comstar wheels
- Tachometer
- Standard forks, no drain plug
- Standard style seat
CM400C - The Custom
- Standard transmission
- Dual caliper front disk brake
- Comstar wheels
- Tachometer
- Air assisted forks with drain plug
- Standard or custom quilted style seat
CM400E - The Economy
- Standard transmission
- Drum brakes
- Spoked wheels
- No tachometer
- Standard forks, no drain plug
- Standard seat
CM400T - The Twin / Touring
- Standard transmission
- Single caliper front disk brake
- Comstar wheels
- Tachometer
- Standard forks, no drain plug
- Standard style seat

ReplyDeleteCM400A, Tachometer wasn't one, it was a gear indicator for which gear you were in, N, 1, 2. And it was not automatic transmission, it was "automatic" clutch, you still shifted.
